Dr. Prashant Acharya is a respected leader in maternal–fetal medicine and an advocate for integrating advanced neuroimaging into routine prenatal care. As the Founder Secretary of the Fetal Brain Society, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the Society’s mission to promote excellence in fetal brain evaluation and education across the globe.

Based in Ahmedabad, India, Dr. Acharya is known for his work in high-resolution obstetric ultrasound, fetal neurosonography, and multidisciplinary fetal medicine practice. His clinical expertise is matched by a deep commitment to training the next generation of fetal medicine specialists, and he has mentored professionals across India and beyond.

A visionary in his field, Dr. Acharya recognized early the need for a unified global platform to connect fetal imaging experts, neuroscientists, geneticists, and clinicians.
