Dr. Karina Haratz

Dr. Karina Haratz is a leading expert in fetal medicine and neuroimaging, with a strong focus on the early detection and characterization of fetal brain anomalies. Known for her precision, clinical acumen, and research-driven approach, she has become a key figure in advancing multidisciplinary prenatal diagnostics in Israel and internationally.

Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Dr. Haratz serves as director of the OB-GYN Ultrasound Division at Lis Maternity and Women’s Hospital  where she combines advanced ultrasound techniques and fetal MRI to assess complex central nervous system abnormalities. Her clinical work is marked by a collaborative, patient-centered approach, integrating input from geneticists, pediatric neurologists, and neonatologists to optimize outcomes.

As a Board Member of the Fetal Brain Society, Dr. Haratz contributes her expertise in both clinical care and research, promoting the integration of imaging, diagnostics, and interdisciplinary management in fetal brain evaluations.
